Bohdan Khmelnytsky (1595–1657) - hetman and commander of the Zaporozhian Army, military leader and statesman. He led an armed uprising against the Poles, which eventually liberated the Right Bank and the Left Bank of Ukraine and formed the Hetmanate - an independent state.
A memorial plaque is installed on the facade of the building of the Institute of Management and Business named after Bohdan Khmelnytsky.
