Borys Hmyria (1903-69) - singer, one of the leading masters of opera art in the country, People's Artist of the USSR. Borys Hmyria died on August 1, 1969. Buried at Baikovo cemetery. His second wife Vera Augustivna is buried nearby. The tombstone on the grave of Boris Hmyra was unveiled in 1979.
