Panas Saksagansky - Ukrainian and Soviet actor, theater director, playwright, the leader of the Ukrainian domestic theater. As a director he staged more than 260 performances. As an outstanding teacher he brought up famous Ukrainian actors and directors. A memorial plaque to Panas Saksagansky was unveiled in 1972 on the facade of the house where the artist lived and worked in 1912-1940.
