Holy Trinity Church is one of the Orthodox churches in the center of Kyiv, located near the intersection of Zhylyanska and Velyka Vasylkivska streets, near the Olimpiysky National Sports Complex and the Operetta Theater.
The first wooden temple was built in 1856-1859. In 1911, the construction of a new church began, but it was not completed due to the First World War, and later under Soviet rule the church was dismantled. The wooden church was demolished in 1962; in its place now stands a residential building. The revival of the shrine began in 2011 near the historic site.
