Yuri Gagarin (1934–1968) - pilot-cosmonaut, the first person in world history to fly into outer space. The granite monument to Gagarin in Kyiv was erected in the yard of the district children's center for technical creativity and professional orientation of school youth. Gagarin's bust was dismantled on June 19, 2023. By the way, Yuri Gagarin visited Kyiv on April 24-26, 1966.
