Andriy Malyshko (1912-70) - a prominent Ukrainian poet, translator, public figure. He has published more than 40 poetry books. He is the author of the lyrics to the song Kyiv Waltz" - one of the most famous songs about Kyiv. A monument to Andriy Malyshko in Darnytsia has been erected in a park named after the poet. The monument was unveiled on June 17, 2016 and was timed to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Constitution and the 25th - Independence of Ukraine.
