Monument at the place of the stop of Taras Shevchenko's coffin in Kyiv

The monument was erected at the place of the last stop of the Taras Shevchenko's coffin in Kyiv, from where it was taken by ship to the burial place in Kaniv. The monument was unveiled in 1989 as part of the celebration of the 175th anniversary of the birth of Kobzar.
