Memorial plaque to Ivan Puluy

Ivan Pulyuy (1845-1918) is an outstanding Ukrainian scientist, and in radically different fields of science. On the one hand, he became famous for having discovered "X" rays 14 years before Röntgen. On the other hand, he is the co-author of the first canonical translation of the Bible into Ukrainian. Today, the name of the scientist Ivan Puluy is a symbol of the intellectual power of the Ukrainian people and the benchmark for Ukraine's future achievements.

A street was named in honor of the outstanding scientist in the Solomyansky district in Kyiv, and a memorial plaque was installed on the facade of one of the administrative and household buildings in November 2015.
