Andriy Sova (1912 – 1994) is a famous actor, humorist, master of artistic speech, People's Artist of Ukraine.

In the 1960s and 1980s, all of Ukraine quoted, loved, and rushed to the performances of the unsurpassed comedian Andrii Sova. He was compared to Louis de Funes, and Andriy Korniyovich was proud of this, because he loved this actor very much. During his 25-year film career (1938–1973), Andriy Sova starred in 45 films. The audience especially liked his role as Panas Petrovych in the movie "Queen of the Gas Station" (1963). In the 1980s and 1990s, he taught acting at the Kyiv School of Variety and Circus Art. He is the author of the memoir "The Road to Laughter" (1991).

On October 6, 2017, a bronze memorial plaque to Andriy Sova was unveiled on the facade of the house where the artist lived in 1954-1964.
