Alla Gorska (1929-70) is an artist and public figure. Her public activity played a significant role in the formation of a new generation of Ukrainian intellectuals. She is one of the organizers and active members of the Creative Youth Club. The artist and her entourage took part in protests against political repression, morally and materially supported political prisoners and their family members. Therefore, Alla Gorska was persecuted by state authorities. A memorial plaque to Alla Gorska was unveiled on November 27, 1995 on the facade of the house where the artist lived with her family. Made of gabbro with a bronze bas-relief portrait.
