Olexander Biletsky (1884-1961) - Academician and scholar of literature, headed the Institute of Literature, devoted a number of articles to the consideration of Ukrainian literature in the context of the development of world literature. A bronze memorial plaque to Oleksandr Biletsky with a small bust is installed on the facade of the house where the writer lived and worked in 1956-61. Opened in 1973.
