Patriarch Mstyslav (Skrypnyk; 1898-1993) was a church and public figure, the first Patriarch of the revived Ukrainian Orthodox Autocephalous Church and the first Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church Kyiv Patriarchate. A memorial plaque to Patriarch Mstyslav Skrypnyk is installed on the facade of the Church of the Intercession on Podil (here the hierarch worshiped in 1990-1993). It was unveiled in 2016.
