Alexander Vertinsky (1889 — 1957) was Russian and Soviet artist, poet, singer, composer, cabaret artist and actor who exerted seminal influence on the Russian tradition of artistic singing.
A bronze plaque to Alexander Vertinsky was unveiled in 1995 on the facade of the house where the singer was born.
