Volodymyr Polyachenko (1938 – 2012) – president of the holding company "Kyivmiskbud", president of the Confederation of Builders of Ukraine, Hero of Ukraine.
A memorial plaque to Volodymyr Polyachenko was installed on the facade of the building of the Kyivmiskbud company. On August 9, 2012, a granite memorial plaque was unveiled, later it was replaced by a bronze bust. Under the bust is the inscription: "From 1988 to 2012, an outstanding builder, a talented organizer of the construction business, Hero of Ukraine, Honorary Citizen of the City of Kyiv Volodymyr Avrumovych Polyachenko worked in this building."
