Vitaliy Kovalinsky (1941–2019) - historian of Kyiv, writer, journalist. Author and compiler of 30 monographs on the history of the city, more than 500 newspaper and magazine publications. A memorial plaque to Vitaliy Kovalinsky was installed on the facade of the house where the historian lived for 20 years - in 1964-1984. It was unveiled in August 2021.
