The mural "Free" adorns the wall of a 24-storey residential building next to the Dnipro District Center for Culture and Arts in the DVRZ residential area.
Its author is the world-renowned Ukrainian street artist Oleksandr Korban.
The mural is dedicated to Ukrainian women and children who are waiting for their defenders in the rear. The girl depicted on the mural is a generalized image of a Ukrainian woman filled with hope, love, resilience, and faith in victory. It has become a symbol of strength, tenderness, and indomitability.
The artwork was created over three months under challenging conditions: in heat, rain, and during air raid alerts. The artist worked without a projector — painting directly on the wall. The "Free" mural was solemnly unveiled on October 7, 2025.
The project was made possible thanks to the patrons — the companies "ITAK" and "Farby Koloryt".
