Palats Ukraina metro station is located near the center of Kyiv. It was opened in 1984 and became the 26th metro station. Originally called "Chervonoarmiyska", and the current name of the station since 1993.
The design of the station is reminiscent of the original name, and its motto was as follows: "Born in the flames of the revolution." A mosaic of bright red smalt covers the sides of the pylons, and the patterns are laid out in the form of tongues of flame; a mosaic panel with the image of a Red Army soldier, made in the technique of Florentine mosaic, which decorates the end of the central hall; red stars adorn the track walls, etc.
In 2015, according to the law on decommunization, the panel "Red Army soldier" and two mints - "Star of the Red Army" and "Star of the Soviet Army" were closed.
Artists S. Kyrychenko and R. Kyrychenko worked on the design of the station.
