Vira Lake is located in the area of South Borschahivka in the Svyatoshynsky district of Kyiv. The reservoir was formed on the fault of the 1970s and 1980s, where before that there was a swamp in the historical course of the Borschahivka River. The length of the lake is 200 m, the greatest depth is 9 m. It is concreted around the perimeter. Crayfish, perch, crucian carp, and terrapins live in the reservoir.
In 2021, the city authorities approved a project for the improvement of the lake area, which, in particular, provides for the arrangement of gazebos, a volleyball court, a table tennis court, a children's playground, a place for walks with a FEM coating, platforms near the reservoir.
