Dmytro Miliutenko (1899-1966) was an actor, People's Artist of the USSR. In 1927-1936 he worked at the Berezil Theater in Kharkiv. In 1936, at the invitation of director Hnat Yura, he moved to Kyiv. In recent years, he played a number of bright multifaceted roles on the stage of the Ivan Franko Theater. He starred in several films of the Kyiv Dovzhenko Film Studio.
A granite plaque with a bronze bas-relief portrait to Dmytro Miliutenko is installed on the facade of the house where the actor lived in 1923-1927 and 1936-1966. It was unveiled in 1985.
