A memorial plaque to Mykhailo Zubets was installed on the facade of the Hippodrome building in Pechersk, where the Presidium of the Ukrainian Academy of Agrarian Sciences is now located. The unveiling took place on November 19, 2018.
Mykhailo Zubets (1938 - 2014) - Soviet and Ukrainian scientist, academician, 2nd President of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences, 6th Minister of Agrarian Policy, Hero of Ukraine. The practical results of the scientist's doctoral work should be considered his participation in the creation of new red and black dairy, Ukrainian, Volyn and Polissya beef cattle breeds.
