Memorial plaque to Yuriy Chorny-Didenko

Yuriy Chorny-Didenko (real Vyacheslav Didenko; 1907-73) is a writer. The main theme of his work was the life and work of the mining Donbas. Author of the novels "Blue Blouse", "Tales of Far Roads", "Sparks in the Wind" and other works.

A bronze memorial plaque to Yuriy Chorny-Didenko is installed on the facade of the building at 2 Mykhaila Kotsyubynkoho Street, where the writer lived in 1957-1973. A memorial cabinet has been preserved in his apartment. The board was opened on December 8, 1981.
