Boryslav Brondukov (1938-2004) was an actor, People's Artist of the Ukrainian SSR. He was born in the Kyiv region, in 1965 he entered the Kyiv State Institute of Theater Arts named after I. Karpenka-Karoho. He starred in more than 130 films, including the films "Zakhar Berkut", "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson", "Garage", "Green Van", "Sportloto-82". The first laureate of the Oleksandr Dovzhenko State Prize. Buried at Baikovo cemetery in Kyiv (plot No. 49a).
A granite memorial plaque to Boryslav Brondukov has been installed on the facade of the house where the actor lived since 1986. Its opening took place on September 8, 2012, on the Day of Ukrainian Cinema.
