Memorial plaque with a bust of Lesya Ukrainka is installed on the facade of an old residential building built in 1889. The famous writer lived here for periods in 1899-1907, and in 1960, her literary memorial museum was opened in the house.
A bronze commemorative sign was unveiled in 1971 for the 100th anniversary of the poet's birth in place of the marble memorial plaque of 1958.
