
Mikhail Bulgakov (1891-1940) - a famous writer and physician. A memorial plaque to Mikhail Bulgakov is installed on the facade of the house on Andrew's Descent, where the future writer lived in 1906-1913, while he studied at the Medical Faculty of Kyivr's University. The memorial plaque was created in 1981 and was installed in February 1982. In 1991, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the writer, the M. Bulgakov Literary Memorial Museum "Turbine House" was unveiled. In much of his literary heritage, Mikhail Bulgakov repeatedly addressed Kyiv, calling it "the best city in our country".
