Golda Meir (1898 - 1978) - the national heroine of Israel - one of its founders and fifth prime minister. She was born in the center of Kyiv, where she lived for 5 years. Bronze plaque to Golda Meir is installed on the facade of the building where she was born and spent her childhood. It was unveiled on November 23, 1998.
