Borys Paton (1918 – 2020) was a Soviet and Ukrainian scientist and a long-time chairman of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The author of more than 1000 publications, including 20 monographs and responsible for more than 400 inventions.
The monument to Boris Paton in Kyiv Polytechnic Institute was unveiled on November 26, 2021.
