Monument to the liberators of Vyshhorod - Soldiers of the 167th Sumy-Kyiv Rifle Division

The monument to the liberators of Vyshgorod is located in the park on the embankment of the reservoir at the foot of Vyshgorod Mountain. The memorial is dedicated to the soldiers of the 167th Sumy-Kyiv Rifle Division, which liberated Vyshhorod from German troops in the fall of 1943. On September 28, the division forced the Dnipro near Vyshgorod, liberating it and forming a bridgehead. The names of the soldiers of the division who distinguished themselves during the liberation of the city are engraved on the granite slabs. The monument was unveiled in 1979.
