On the night of January 23–24, 2026, as a result of a massive Russian combined missile and drone attack on Kyiv, the Roshen confectionery factory in the historic Demiivka district was damaged. In particular, the upper floor/top part of the main/historic production building (originally founded in 1874) was destroyed. One woman was killed and at least two others were injured in the strike on the factory.
