Kytayiv is a picturesque area in the Holosiivskyi Forest on the southern outskirts of the Kyiv. This is one of the most beautiful places in the Ukrainian capital. On both sides of the chain of lakes rise hills covered with huge old trees. The Orthodox Trinity Monastery "Kytayivska Pustyn" rises on one of the hills. By the way, the first monastery in this place dates back to the 11th century - it was a cave monastery.
