The Transfiguration Cathedral in Kyiv is one of the most striking examples of modern church building and a pearl of church architecture in Kyiv and all of Ukraine. It was built in 2005-2011 and reconstructed in 2016-2017. The interior and exterior of the cathedral are decorated with mosaic icons and panels, the largest among Kyiv churches.
