The Roman Catholic Church of St. Nicholas on Velyka Vasylkivska Street was built in 1899-1909 in the Neo-Gothic style by architect Vladyslav Horodetskyi. The building is one of the author's most perfect creations, in which he skillfully demonstrated the depth of his artistic erudition and originality of his creative thinking. The church now houses the National House of Organ and Chamber Music and a Roman Catholic parish.
