The Sky Loft Hotel is located in the very heart of Kyiv, next to the Palats Sportu metro station, Bessarabskyi Market, Gulliver and Parus buildings.
The 4-star hotel was built in 2011-2017. Originally named Aloft Hotel, it was opened on May 18, 2018, on the eve of the UEFA Champions League final.
The composition of the building consists of three volumes: the lower one, where public functions are concentrated, the volume with hotel rooms and the volume of engineering equipment above. Such a vertical parcellation made it possible to find the most suitable scale for the nearby Soviet building. The rooms of the Sky Loft Hotel are divided into two blocks, which differ in layout - there are 341 of them. The lower volume contains an atrium with galleries, which leads to the hotel lobby, shops, restaurants, conference halls. The height of the 27-story building is approximately 85 m, and its total area is 20.000 sq m. The project was created by Drozdov & Partners architectural bureau.
