The "Steps" fountain on the Maidan Nezalezhnosti is located on the northern "ceremonial" part of the square, in front of the Independence Monument. Here he appeared in 2001 during the reconstruction of the Maidan for the 10th anniversary of Ukraine's independence.
This is one of the most favorite fountains for children and schoolchildren during the last bell. Very often you can see how in the summer, taking off their shoes, they roam the water, splashing each other and creating a cheerful atmosphere of childhood.
