The fountain in the City Garden is one of the four large Termen's fountains preserved in Kyiv. The fountain is located on its central avenue, not far from the Mariinsky Palace and the building of the Cabinet of Ministers. It has the meaning of an important accent in the spatial planning and landscape structure of the park. The date of installation - 1899 - is indicated on the barrel under the bowl. Once upon a time, the fountain was part of the Kyiv water supply system.
