Since the 11th century, Archangel Michael has been considered the heavenly patron saint of Kyiv. The fountain with the sculpture of Archangel Michael in the Volodymyrska Hill park was unveiled on September 19, 2020. It is located in the upper part of the park near the territory of St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery. It should be noted that this is the second fountain on Volodymyrska Hill - the first one near the new bridge was opened a year earlier.
