The park pedestrian bridge over the Dnipro River connects the embankment and Trukhaniv Island. Its expressive silhouette is one of the traditional elements in the panorama of Kyiv.
The construction of the bridge began in 1956, and the opening took place on July 3, 1957.
All-welded bridge built using automatic welding. The length of the bridge is 426.4 m, the width of the pedestrian part is 7.0 m.
On 2015, the Pedestrian Bridge became part of the cycling route "residential area Troyeshchyna - European Square ", connecting the most populated residential area of the city with the center with a single bike path.
